Tab Trade — What It Is
TabTrade opened in March 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection tells you something. It means the leadership knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. Still preferable to a founder with no industry background.
They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.
What you can trade: forex, indices, metals, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For something that launched in March 2026, that range is broad.
Platforms
You get: MT5, cTrader, and web trading. Both platforms from a single account. Many only give you one or the other. Getting both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.
MT5 is the default. Complete charts, automated trading, huge user base. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the alternative. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. cBot support. Many people prefer it after comparing.
Direct FIX connectivity is available for bots but needs the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is reportedly on the roadmap. That will be a good addition once it is live.
Costs
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. No commission. Straightforward. $0 to start. Good for beginners.
Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your real cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. This broker does not.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not relevant to the average person. Do not worry about it unless you trade institutionally.
Infrastructure
This is the area where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers run a much wider range.
Does it matter? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. But the fact that the setup is serious. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Put together that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the total package is strong. Few brokers at this price point offer execution like this.
The FSRA Question
Now, the thing that matters. Tab Trade is licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. There are ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
That said. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Scam brokers do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. But factor into your assessment.
The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that is worth it depends on you.
Deposit Bonus
TabTrade offers a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Typical deposit match. You deposit, they add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you deposit.
